  5. Palm Personnel Records provides facilities for the smooth running of a
  6. personnel administration department. The Palm Personnel system forms part of
  7. the Palm Human Resources system and can be used either alone or in conjunction
  8. with the Palm Payroll module. Alphabetical enquiry allows access to personnel
  9. details by name and up to 36 pages of information. Each personnel record has a
  10. related absence calendar for keeping track of holidays, lateness, sickness,
  11. etc. Up to 255 shift patterns are available and a full display shows up to 16
  12. monthsâ•’ calendar "bookings" on screen. A built in report generator allows
  13. fast and easy reporting of both ad hoc or standard reports. The Palm Personnel
  14. system is designed for use on its own or linked to the Palm Payroll, and a
  15. comprehensive data security system protects the confidentiality of personnel
  16. information.
